This blog has a very simple premise. I’m a writer since birth, well, third grade actually. Mrs. Stein’s 3rd grade “Authors Club” at Forest Park Elementary School. That’s where it all began for me.
My entire life has been spent composing stories in my head about my daily life experiences. In my 20s, I commuted on the train to Boston and back. Sometimes, it took a total of three hours round trip. During that time, I wrote thousands of “columns” in my mind before the invention of the BLOG. They were simply observations about people, and maybe only I think they are funny or strange. Since then, I’ve continued to write. The only problem is, I’ve never actually taken the time to write them down. Until now.
This blog is called The Glass Lens. What I write is clearly from my very unique perspective. It not be for everyone, yet everyone is welcome!!
Topics include everything from people’s behaviors in public places to my anger at what our society prioritizes as “important.” I will explore pretty much everything that has me scratching my head about common sense. It will include everything from food and health to cell phone use and my anger about our food supply. I will also discuss cell phone use, guns, greed, and the simple act of kindness.
I want to share my thoughts in public. This way, I can find like minded people. I hope to put out into the universe what I think is important. Then I can see if there are others who feel the same. So pour yourself a cup of coffee, water, or tequila–depending upon when you’re reading this, and make yourself at home. And thank you for being here.
